So, Sauvignon Blanc. Wines made from this grape are generally light to medium-bodied and acidic with grassy and green flavours. A useful tip I picked up is 'If it’s a dish you might squeeze a little lime on, you might consider Sauvignon Blanc'

Ideally pair with delicately flavoured foods, herby or slightly acidic foods such as springtime dishes, soups, fish, and poultry dishes. Asparagus in particular goes well with a citrusy Sauvignon as does a fresh fruit salad.

Dishes to avoid are buttery dishes, red meat and overly salty foods. They will overpower the delicate flavour of the wine.
